I am taking four of my dolls over to the public library to be put on display and it is a lot harder to do that you think. I am going to miss them. It is only for a month but . . .
I am taking Kit, Chloe(Marisol), Alex (AG 15) and Hermione (custom). As these are my most replaceable. Sam and Kirsten can not go as they are both white bodied dolls as well as being childhood keepsakes, Joanna isn't going because she is what a gift from my dad.
They are in the display case but I am still scared of something happening to them. I will post pictures when they are in there.

I'd be nervous too, even though the odds of something happening are small! That's nice of you to share them with other people, though! I haven't seen your Hermoine but I'm sure even people who don't like AG will really like that one.
At least you can visit them sometimes, right?

You are so sweet to do that. Just think how much pleasure your dolls will be giving to others. Plus, I bet your dolls will have some great stories to tell when they return home.
I can't wait to see pics.

Try not to worry--in NC, the libraries are run by the county; this makes them a government agency, and they have good security systems. No one ever thinks to rob a LIBRARY, anyway!
Anyone wicked enough to do something like that (or mean enough to molest display dolls) would never set foot in a library in the first place!
I worked in the library system here for nearly 5 years, and such has been my experience. Hope this is comforting!

What a wonderful thing for you to do, Ashley! Seeing your girls on display will bring such joy to so many little (and not so little ) girls in your town! I think you are being so generous and unselfish to do this; and I am sure that they will be safe in their display case. How are you going to set them up?

I keep WANTING to put my dolls on display at my library, but I'm pretty sure the display isn't big enough...and then there's the high school embarrassment issue that also stops me.

That's so cute! And such a sweet thing to do. I, also, love how they all look so different, and so cute. I bet a bunch of people ask the librarians about them !
My library has a large display case in the foyer, everytime I go there I think how great that would be for an AG display.

Having AG dolls on display must be the trendy thing to do at libraries right now. Our public library has a beautiful Samantha and Felicity in a display case. They are gorgeous!
